Impact 42 is a TYM (The Youth Movement) initiative that mobilizes young people to close basic-needs gaps for vulnerable children in Malawi. It began with a visit to the Lilongwe Social Rehabilitation Centre and is expanding into a structured programme covering vetted centres across the Central Region.

What does a Care Bundle include?

Each partner centre receives one combined support package covering four categories: Food & Nutrition, Shelter & Dignity, Education, and Health & Hygiene — from staple food and bedding to uniforms, school fees, and sanitary supplies.

How are partner centres vetted?

Centres are identified through the District Social Welfare Office registry, checked for formal registration, visited and assessed in person, scored by needs urgency, and finally onboarded through a signed partnership agreement (MOU).
